Easy Entries! HITS is Pleased to Announce Equestrian Connect as an Official Service Provider for HITS Horse Shows in 2011

SAUGERTIES, NY (November 29, 2010) — The prize lists for HITS Thermal, HITS Ocala and HITS Arizona have been mailed and are also available on-line since winter show jumping at each of these venues is right around the corner!

In addition to the prize lists being available on-line, HITS’ Official Service Provider Equestrian Connect will provide equestrians the opportunity to complete their entry blanks on-line at EquestrianConnect.com. Using this convenient and fast service, equestrians will be able to seamlessly complete and print entry blanks for all HITS shows.

Equestrian Connect was conceived by two frequent hunter/jumper exhibitors, Barbara Phillips and Simone Coxe, who after years of repetitively filling out horse show forms, knew that there had to be a better way. The one-minute horse show entry service is based out of Menlo Park, California and is now available for the majority of USEF A and Jumper rated horse shows in Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 10. Equestrian Connect offers a free 90-day trial period for new members so that they will be able to complete all their HITS Winter Series entries in a short time, and for free. At the conclusion of the trial period, Equestrian Connect offers an annual subscription, or a “pay as you go” service.

Equestrian Connect uses the actual entry form from each horse show for you to accurately fill out and generate your personalized entry forms. Your information is stored and can then be applied to any other horse show entry forms, making entries a simple and less time consuming task. With a few clicks of the mouse you can print and mail your neat entry forms, hassle free, which in turn saves a significant amount of time during check-in. This makes Equestrian Connect an easy and reliable tool for everyone to use.

“Show jumping and horses are the life that I’ve chosen, so I’d rather spend my time with my horses and clients rather than doing all of the paperwork that was needed before Equestrian Connect was offered,” said Helen McNaught of Outwoods Farm. “We use the service and it makes our job so much easier.”

The show jumping season at HITS Horse Shows beings in the Sunshine State when the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit rolls into town for two unrated weeks, starting with the Ocala January Classic, January 19-23, and then the Ocala January Festival, January 26-30, followed by six consecutive weeks of AA-rated competition that will run from February 8 through March 20.

Out west, the 2011 HITS Desert Circuit will get underway on Tuesday, January 25 and will run for three consecutive weeks until Sunday, February 13. After a short break, February 14 – 20, show jumping returns on Tuesday, February 22 and will continue until Sunday, March 13. Finally, show jumping at HITS Arizona takes the stage on Wednesday, February 2 and will feature six weeks of competition at the Pima County Fair Grounds in Tucscon, Arizona that culminates on Sunday, March 13.
