“We accepted electronic entries through Equestrian Connect at the first Culpeper show, and were happy with the process and have received positive feedback from exhibitors there,” said HITS President and CEO, Tom Struzzieri. “It is great to expand the service to our Saugerties shows as well.”

Until now, exhibitors have used Equestrian Connect to complete their entry forms online, but have been required to print, sign and mail the forms with payment. In 2012, Equestrian Connect made electronic submissions possible, offering a major convenience upgrade to trainers, owners and riders.

“I put all the information for my horses and riders into the system and it literally takes me 10 minutes to enter between 15 and 20 horses per horse show,” said Danielle Torano, Equestrian Connect customer and HITS Saugerties exhibitor. “I have used other services and this is by far the easiest – it makes the process very simple.”

Equestrian Connect launched its entry service in 2010. In the last two years, Equestrian Connect has attracted more than 6,500 members. The company posts entry forms for more than 800 USEF A/AA hunter/jumper shows throughout the United States and Canada. The company’s new electronic entry submission feature has experienced good responses from horse show managers and exhibitors alike. The majority of California horse show managers have adopted it. HITS is the first company on the east coast to offer it, however, electronic entry submission through Equestrian Connect is also offered by the 2012 Hampton Classic, Ryegate, Skidmore College, Saratoga Classic, and Equus Events.

The HITS Saugerties Show Series will get underway May 23 with three consecutive weeks of hunter/jumper competition. Action returns to HITS-on-the-Hudson July 18 to kick-off three weeks of summer showing, including the New York Horse & Pony Show and the Children’s Hunter Pony Final. The last two weeks of competition begin August 29 and will cap the season with HITS Championship Weekend.

The Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse Show (SCHS) today announced that exhibitors can now electronically submit their entries through Equestrian Connect.

Equestrian Connect is a web service for completing horse show entry forms online. Last year, exhibitors used the service to complete entry forms, but were required to print, sign and mail them with payment. Now, exhibitors can use their accounts to submit their entries with a click of their mouse. No more printing or mailing, or paying expensive overnight delivery charges.

Blenheim EquiSports announced today that exhibitors can now electronically submit their entries to Blenheim horse shows through Equestrian Connect.

Equestrian Connect is a web service for completing horse show entry forms online. Until now, exhibitors have been required to print, sign and mail the forms with payment.

Blenheim is the first show management company to accept entries electronically through Equestrian Connect. Robert Ridland commented, “We are committed to offering the best services to our exhibitors. 1) To receive Blenheim’s prepaid discount via Equestrian Connect, please add credit card information in your MyAccount under the credit card tab. During Step 2 of the entry process, you will select the credit card to apply for each horse.

2) Submit entries online through Equestrian Connect and bring payment to the Blenheim show office when you arrive.

HITS is pleased to announce that Equestrian Connect will return to HITS as an Official Service Provider for the HITS Desert Circuit, HITS Arizona Winter Circuit and the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit for the third consecutive year .

Entry deadlines for the winter circuits are rapidly approaching and there is no faster way to complete entries for all HITS winter shows than Equestrian Connect. Equestrian Connect provides competitors the opportunity to complete their entry forms on-line. They simply click on the Equestrian Connect logo and link on the opening page of the HITS Thermal, HITS Arizona or HITS Ocala pages and the easy to follow, secure format will allow them to enter all of their horses. Last winter alone, approximately 2,800 HITS entry forms were completed using the Equestrian Connect on-line entry system.

Equestrian Connect uses the actual entry form from each horse show and provides a way to accurately complete and print personalized entry forms. The information is stored and can then be applied to any other horse show entry forms, making entries a simple and less time consuming task. With a few clicks of the mouse entries can be printed and mailed, hassle free. This in turn saves a significant amount of time during check-in, making Equestrian Connect an easy and reliable tool for everyone to use.
“I was introduced to Equestrian Connect last winter. I misread the due date on entries for the Thermal circuit and realized entries were due the next day. Entries for HITS Thermal close tomorrow, January 4, followed by HITS Arizona on January 17 and HITS Ocala January 18. The 2012 HITS Ocala Winter Circuit begins January 18 with two unrated weeks of competition, followed by seven consecutive weeks of A and AA rated competition from January 31 through March 18. Out west, the HITS Desert Circuit will get underway on Tuesday, January 24 and will run for three consecutive weeks until Sunday, February 12. After a short break, February 13 – 19, show jumping returns on Tuesday, February 21 and will continue until Sunday, March 11. The HITS Arizona Winter Circuit will also run six consecutive weeks of AA rated competition from February 1 through March 11.
